If you have tested positive and are considered high risk, please seek treatment immediately. People experiencing severe illness which can include trouble breathing, persistent pain or chest pressure, new confusion, inability to wake up or stay aware, or blue lips, should seek immediate medical care. It is important to help keep emergency departments from becoming overwhelmed with individuals seeking care for minor health issues so they can focus on the most urgent and life-threatening cases. Do not seek a COVID-19 test at an Emergency Room unless you are experiencing a medical emergency. It is important that you tell your close contacts so they can also be tested to protect the health of those around them and prevent further spread of the disease, especially those who are immunocompromised or have underlying health conditions.
